CoverGirl Aqua Smoothers Tinted Moisturiser

I'm probably late in posting this seeing as though I received this last year from Super Purdy's giveaway but since I have finally started typing this out lets get on with the review! :D

The shade I got was 805 fair to light, I've heard that they have 4 shades on their website.
This is actually the first CoverGirl product I own, I havent heard much about their face products though I hear a lot of raves on their mascaras and eyeliners (still have yet to try).
I'm going to warn you readers that this is the second tinted moisturizer that I own so I can't compare it with anything besides my Nivea Daily Essentials Tinted Moisturiser.

Ingredients

What I like about the packaging is that it is in a squeeze tube so you can easily control how much product you want to use and you can also squeeze out the remaining product once you start running low on it.
I also find that the cap is in a twist form instead of the flip cap. I prefer the flip cap in general when it comes to the 'squeeze tube' packaging since you don't have to take of the cap, use the product and put it back on, I always risk dropping the cap on the floor and having it roll under a table, chair or fridge (yes a fridge).

Back of the tube

"Lightweight moisturizers with a wash of sheer color give skin a healthy glow. Skin feels soft, looks smooth!"

States that it :
  • Moisturizers and Vitamin E
  • UVA/UVB sroad spectrum sunscreen
  • Oil free, 100% PABA and fragrance free
  • Won't Clog Pores

L- Covergirl   R-Nivea
When I first tried this is felt very lightweight and a more thin consistency. Which I preferred over the Nivea (thicker but more coverage).
Also I apply this with clean fingers.
The coverage is more sheer/light imo, but it did lighten my face and gave it a my-skin-but-better look.
The finish was also dewy, but since I have oily skin I still like to use powder on top.
What really disappointed me was the moisturising part, sadly it didn't moisturise, it did accentuate the dry areas on my face so it's best to moisturise before using this. But other then that I am pretty happy with with product!
I would definitely purchase this once I run out.
But I have a feeling this is discontinued..maybe? I can't seem to find this anywhere :(

Have you tried this out? What's your favourite tinted moisturiser?
